Lord God, send help. And if possible send it now.
Send a company of angels to protect
my friend from danger, fear or illness.
Send the powerful to defend the powerless.
I know not what future You decree for my dear one,
but I cry out for protection from unnecessary suffering.
I see danger moving close, but I am unable to help.
All I can do is put my trust in You
and the protection of a band of invulnerable angels.
Lend them to us in our hour of need.
